OK, we just need to say this up front: We are very proud of our ice products. I mean, like, really proud.

For over 75 years, we’ve been a leader in the local ice market. Ice has been one of our staples since 1945, when we sold the very first commercial Scotsman® ice machine in the state of Minnesota.

Shamrock Group has expanded extensively in the past seven decades beyond only selling ice machines and packaging ice manually, one bag at a time. Today, our manufacturing facility in Minneapolis equips state-of-the-art robotics and is the largest privately-owned ice plant in Minnesota, with well over 20,000 square feet of storage — which, if you flattened our very tall freezer to, say, 8ft ceilings, we’re talking half the size of a football field.

Our Packaged Ice – our Ace Ice brand – is the flagship product of our ice line. Our cubes, as well as our crushed ice, are crystal clear, pure, 100% metal detected – all produced in an A+ rated manufacturing facility where we produce 120 tons of Ace Ice daily.
